Clinical Neurophysiologist
We provide a full range of clinical neurophysiology services to help diagnose and manage conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. Each procedure is performed and interpreted by our specialist neurophysiologist.
EEG testing to assess brain activity and assist in diagnosing epilepsy and related conditions. Standard and overnight EEG available.
Nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), and peripheral nerve ultrasound to evaluate nerve and muscle function and diagnose neuromuscular conditions.
Comprehensive overnight polysomnography to diagnose sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy. CPAP titration also available.
Intra-operative neurophysiological monitoring during surgical procedures to protect the central and peripheral nervous system and detect potential nerve injury in real time.

An NCS involves a mild tingling or twitching sensation but is not usually painful. An EMG may cause brief mild discomfort when the needle electrode is inserted.
